Can I request a copy if I lost my certificate?

Yes. You may request a replacement by contacting the AGIA Secretariat. However, please note that only a Certification will be issued in lieu of the original certificate.

Will I receive the presentation materials of the Speakers?

Yes. It will be sent together with your Certificate.

How long will it take to receive my certificate?

Certificates are usually released a week after the training. You will be notified once available.

Will I get a Certificate of Completion or Appearance/Attendance?

Yes. Participants who have completed the training requirements will receive:

  • A digital Certificate of Completion for sessions conducted online.
  • Both a Certificate of Completion and a Certificate of Appearance for face-to-face sessions.
Are AGIA trainings accredited by PRC / CPAs for CPD units?

Yes. AGIA is an accredited CPD provider for CPAs only. Our programs on Accounting and Internal Audit topics are filed with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and are subject to evaluation and approval for the corresponding CPD units.

Can I attend a training even if I am not an AGIA member?

Yes. Non-members are welcome to join AGIA trainings and seminars, although members usually enjoy free overview webinars.

Are there any workshops during the session?

Yes. Most AGIA training programs include interactive workshops, group activities, or case studies designed to reinforce learning. The specific format depends on the training topic and the resource person. Details will be provided in the Course Outline which the Secretariat will release prior to the scheduled session.

How much are the training/seminar fees?

Fees vary depending on the program. The details are included in each training published.

How can I register for AGIA trainings/seminars?

You may register through the AGIA website by filling out the online registration form for your chosen training under Training Calendar. Instructions will follow once registration has been acknowledged.

How do I confirm if my payment was received?

You will receive an acknowledgement and payment has been forwarded for issuance.

Are payments refundable if I cannot attend a training?

Training fees are generally non-refundable. However:

  • Substitutions may be allowed if you wish to send a replacement participant (please inform the AGIA Secretariat in advance).
  • If you still wish to request a refund, you must submit a formal letter for consideration.
  • If the cancellation or change is due to AGIA, a refund will be processed without the need for a letter.
Can we request an official receipt?

Yes. An Invoice Receipt will be issued for every payment made. To ensure validation, please provide proof of payment that includes the date, amount and the AGIA account number where the payment was deposited.

What are the details of AGIA Bank Accounts for payments?

Only the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) – 3851-0055-94 and Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) – 3402-1031-31.

What are the accepted modes of payment for membership and training fees?

We accept payments via bank deposit, online bank transfer and LDDAP-ADA.

Are there discounts for early registration?

No. The published rates are the actual fees. However, early-bird registrants may be awarded one free webinar in the next quarter, subject to the availability of the chosen seminar or training.

Can non-members join AGIA conventions?

Yes. Non-members may attend the convention.

How can I participate in the annual convention?

You may register online through the AGIA website once the official announcement is posted. Details on fees, schedule, and requirements will be provided.

How often does AGIA hold its annual national convention?

AGIA holds its National Convention once a year, usually in October, the last quarter of the year.

Who can become a member of AGIA?

Membership is open to internal auditors and audit-related personnel in national government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), local government units (LGUs), and other government instrumentalities.

What is AGIA?

The Association of Government Internal Auditors, Inc. (AGIA) is a professional organization of internal auditors in the Philippine government. It is dedicated to promoting excellence, integrity, and accountability in public service through capacity building, professional development and knowledge sharing.

What happens if I don’t renew my membership on time?

Members who fail to renew on time may lose access to certain AGIA privileges including updates to AGIA events, receiving of invitation, etc. Membership may be reactivated upon payment of dues.

Can I update my membership information online?

Yes. You may log in to your Glue-Up account anytime to update your personal and professional information.

How do I renew my membership?

Membership renewal can be done by paying the annual dues and updating your member information in Glue-Up. A renewal reminder is usually sent to members via email.

How much is the membership fee and annual dues?

The membership fee and annual dues are indicated during the application. Payments may be made through accredited banks or online channels.

What are the requirements for membership?

Who should I contact for technical inquiries on internal audit?

You may reach out to the AGIA Secretariat, which will endorse your concern to the appropriate committee or resource person.

How do I request a speaker/resource person from AGIA?

AGIA does not directly assign speakers or resource persons upon request. Instead, you may formally write to the AGIA Secretariat to request an In-House Training. Your request will be evaluated, subject to the availability of resource persons and the relevance of the topic.

How can I invite AGIA as a training provider for my agency?

Agencies may formally request training by sending a letter to the AGIA, address to our current President and may send it to trainings.agiainc@gmail.com. Customized in-house training can be arranged.
